Jorge Jassan Sáenz de Miera

Jorge Jassan is a Managing Partner and one of the founding members. Prior to Capstone Advisors, he served as a Vice President of the Investment Banking and Capital Markets division at Credit Suisse. Before that, he held several positions, including Director of Grupo Bimbo’s Corporate Treasury and Investor Relations.

With over 12 years of relevant transaction experience, Mr. Jassan has contributed in the structuring of transactions with over US$17bn in market value. He has led several landmark domestic and cross-border M&A, debt and equity capital markets, and financing transactions with a primary focus on Consumer, Retail, Transportation, Real Estate, Telecom, and Industrials.

Mr. Jassan graduated with High Honors and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance from Universidad Panamericana. He also holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Luis Macias

Luis is a Managing Partner and one of the founding members of Capstone Advisory. Previously, he served as Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse and Co-Head of the Mexico Office. He was also a Board Member of Credit Suisse and part of the Operating Committee. Luis’ experience includes leading Capital Markets and Advisory transactions for a wide variety of clients in different industries.

Luis has 20 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking. Before joining Capstone Advisors, he worked at Credit Suisse, BBVA and BMW Group.

Luis holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City. He also holds an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa Business School in Madrid.

Karin Krieger Flores

Karin Krieger is an Associate and one of the founding members at Capstone Advisors. Prior to joining Capstone, Karin worked for over three years as an associate in the Credit Suisse Investment Banking team, where she participated in eight transactions with a total value of approximately US$3.5 billion. Before that, she worked at J.P. Morgan, Actinver, and Banorte.

Karin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from ITESM.

Eduardo Miquel Ocampo

Eduardo Miquel is an Analyst and one of the founding members of Capstone Advisors. Prior to joining Capstone Advisors, Eduardo worked for over two years as an Analyst in the Credit Suisse Investment Banking team. During his tenure, he participated in multiple transactions with a total value of approximately US$5.0 billion. Before that, he worked at ARC Capital, Invia Capital, and 414 Capital.

Eduardo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from ITESM.

Rafael Helguero

Rafael Helguero is a Managing Partner and one of the founding members of Capstone Advisors. Prior to establishing Capstone, Rafael worked for over 11 years at Credit Suisse where he served as a Director in the Investment Banking Division. During his tenure, he participated in over 50 transactions worth more than US$33 billion, advising a diverse range of companies in Mexico and Latin America across M&A, Capital Markets (debt and equity), Structured Products, Financings, and Derivatives.

Mr. Helguero’s industry expertise spans across Real Estate, Leisure & Lodgings, Energy, Airlines, Industrials, Metals & Mining, Retail, Packaging, and Financial Sponsors. Overall, he has over 15 years of Investment Banking experience.

Rafael holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, where he graduated with High Honors. He also holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
